Personal Information Protection Policy

Our company is the Mitsui-Soko Group's international logistics company, and our policy is to increase customer satisfaction and contribute to society with our highly specialized know-how of international logistics. In order for us to realize this philosophy, we believe that it is an essential requirement to absolutely protect the personal information of our clients and all personnel involved with out company. For this, we conduct the following.

  • Matters Regarding the Acquisition, Use, Provision, and Consignment of Handling of Personal Information
    • The acquisition of personal information will be done by lawful and fair means.
    • The purpose of use of personal information will be clarified and will be used only within the parameters of the purpose.
    • We will not use personal information outside of its intended purpose (out of purpose use) or provide personal data to a third party without the consent of the client or with the exception of cases specified by law. Furthermore, we have taken necessary countermeasures to ensure that out of purpose use does not occur.
    • We may outsource the handling of personal information to a third party for reasons such as to proceed with duties smoothly. In such a situation, we select a contractor who can provide an adequate level of personal information protection and will maintain the level of protection via contracts and will handle the information properly .
  • Laws and Regulations Regarding the Protection of Personal Information, Guidelines Established by the Government, and Compliance with the Norms
    Regarding the handling of personal information, all personnel involved with company business such as our officers, employees, contract employees, seconded employees, temporary employees, and part-time employees will comply with the “Personal Information Protection Management Systems Requirements (JIS Q 15001 : 2006),” laws and regulations regarding personal information, and government guidelines.
